This was a great wallet for a two week international trip. Being able to keep my passport, credit cards, different forms of currency, and a folded boarding pass all in the same place was wonderful. Being that the wallet is quite a bit larger it was a little difficult to get in and out of the front pocket of tighter jeans. It would be no problem if you're comfortable with it in your back pocket. The leather had a very subtle suede like feel when i got it but after a few weeks of use it's starting to smooth out which makes getting it out of my pocket easier. Having the pen inside proved to be useful a few times but i don't know where to get a replacement when it runs out or I lose it. I only used this for two weeks and it appears to be holding up great but I can't speak to the longterm durability yet. I only intend to use it when traveling one or two weeks a year so it should last just about forever for me with that kind of use.
