Great ChromBook. Powered up and configured with no issues at all. Good performance for this price range as well.Display is plenty bright and clear. Touchscreen works well (works better with a stylus than with fingers of course). Build quality is excellent.The only issue I have is that my unit was sold by a third party reseller on Amazon (Fulfilled by Amazon), and ASUS jumped out from behind a rock and truncated the 1 year warranty to 9 months. Alleged reason: 1 year warranty only applies when you purchase a unit new from ... wait for it... An Authorized ASUS Retailer.The product was new, still in it's factory sealed box, which clearly had never been opened. The retailer that sold it did nothing wrong, this is all on ASUS. It really should not matter which retailer sold the unit to a cusomter, as long as it is in a factory sealed box and sold new. This is NOT customer friendly on the part of ASUS, so from now on I will shun all ASUS products. That's right, treat customers badly like this, and I simply will NOT buy your products ever again.Edit to add a comment about the keyboard. A number of reviewers across the internet are unhappy with the keyboard being hard to observe the keys, and also that the backlighting is too low. Two tips to address this:1) the backlighting actually has 5 levels to it, with the top level being quite bright even in daytime. to change the backlight intensity all you have to do is hold down the ALT key and then press the display illumination adjust keys to change the brightness up or down. I turn it on in the dark and off in daytime.2) For those that do not like the low visual contrast of the keys (silver key, gray lettering), all you have to do is buy one of the inexpensive keypad covers made for a C433T Chromebook. They are inexpensive, and come in a range of key colors and even font sizes, are made from silicone, and drop right over the keyboard and slot into place. Everyone should do this anyway (even if only wanting a clear keypad cover) as it will protect the keys for eventual loss of letter detail due to finger friction wearing off the top surface of the keys.
