This was my second Chromebook, I had purchased my first one as an emergency. I was using my original one for about 6 months and it worked for me and I was pretty happy with it. As I used a chromebook more and more I kept finding out it could do more and more of the things I wanted to do. I hit the wall with my original device, it had the crappiest intel processor you can get in a chromebook, I was not aware of that when I bought it.Even with that somewhat limited device I was really happy with my experience. My issues were really just around processing power not RAM I was fine with 4GB. There are some really nice chromebooks with great Intel based processors but they are very expensive and they all seemed to be overkill for what I needed.I have a Ryzen based gaming laptop which has a better CPU then this chromebook but the Ryzen3 was a much better CPU then I had in my previous device. So far everything is working out great with this device for me. It was plenty of CPU power to run a few apps and do both ZOOM and Teams related conference calls at the same time. The connectivity is good enough for me too. The two USB type A ports and two Type C ports are great. I considered getting the non-x86 version of this Chromebook but one of the reviews I watched claimed it can only support one external monitor. That was a deal breaker for me, I'm primarily using this for work where I have two monitors, this unit runs them both with no problem.I purchased this device for under $400 with tax, for the money I think it was a pretty good value considering how much the higher-end Intel powered chips go for. If you don't mind an AMD powered unit and you have a similar use case as I do I recommend this unit 100%.I am using this product for work. I am having difficulty saving my edited excel files to a flash drive. I am hoping it will get easier.
